It takes a vision to start manufacturing equipment for a new sport, a sport that has yet to gain a foothold of any sort. It’s precisely what former professional windsurfer Raphaël Salles did back in 1989 with F-One kiteboarding.
He stuck to it with tenacity, and eventually, the sport did take hold like Salles knew it would. F-one was in prime position to lead the new sport into the future. A dynamic and fast-moving sport, F-One proliferated as the world embraced kiteboarding, and as the need for fresh accessories grew, so did F-One.
While F-One has branched out into many successful categories, we focus our attention on kiting and foiling.
Stand Up Paddleboards
The F One range of SUP’s is one of the best ranges in the world and comes in two basic concepts. There are F-One hardboards and F-One inflatables. Both boards have their place, and both have their positive.
For those that like to embrace various forms of SUP riding, we have the convertible boards as well. The most versatile of these is the Papanoo range, with 6 different ways to set up, including SUP with a paddle, with or without a foil, windsurf and wingsurf.
Our Noosa Pro is our standard F-One SUP built for speed, glide and ease of use. They come in the 9’0 and 10’0 range and are ideal for those who are competent but still want to have fun.
For those who are chasing speed, we have the Race Pro DW range. Long, sleek and built for speed and for destroying chop.
SUP Foils
F-One is on the cutting edge of the sport of SUP foiling right now, and the sport is taking off! Every little beach on every coastline has a SUP-foiling community, and as these ‘foilers’ show the world the wonders of the sport, so it is attracting more.
It too is a rapidly evolving sport. As more people take their foils to more extreme situations, the performance levels are heading up, and the technology is improving. Currently focused on the Rocket SUP and to a lesser degree the Papanoo Convertible, there is something for everyone in the F-One SUP foil range.
